Scallion Oil (Mỡ Hành)

Grilled corn, off the cob, drizzled with scallion oil

 

This is a great flavoring condiment over almost everything!

8-10 scallions/green onion (thinly sliced)

1/2 C vegetable oil (do not use olive or flavored oil)

1/2 tsp salt

1/2 tsp sugar

1. heat oil, on medium, in a small/medium saucepan

2. add scallions, remove from heat, add salt and sugar, mix gently

3. allow oil to cool before serving; place cooled oil in a glass jar, can be stored in fridge for a week, allow to come to room temp before using.
